【Basic】What are the rules of Japanese calligraphy?
Posture is most important in the beginning of writing Japanese calligraphy.
You must space one fist between the desk and you, and straight your back.
So, your posture reflects to your writing.
Writing the word from right to left or up to down is common.
If you are left handedness, letters will be rubbed with the left hand.
Because of the problem, sometimes those who are left handedness become to right handedness when they write Japanese calligraphy.
Each type of Japanese characters has three important parts, first of them is “Stop (Tome),” second is “Check (Hane),” third is “Sweep (Harai).”
